My daughter and I stopped for a late bite. Our server, Lex, was great. He stayed on top of our water refills and was pleasant. We ordered the canal street combo for starters. Rat tails were the winners for us in the trio. I had the hurricane salmon which I enjoyed. Requested mango salsa rather than the spicy glaze and it arrived in a small cup on the side rather than atop the salmon. The standard sides offered are mashed potatoes and green beans. I will substitute the beans next time. Not into heavy butter like that. My daughter said the etoufee was as expected- delicious. We shared the slice of pecan pie. A little zydeco a bit of holiday music billowed during our meal. The dining area was clean as well as the exterior grounds.

The shrimp étouffée was amazing. The Catfish basket was only lacking in the fries. They needed to be a little bit more crispy but overall a great 1st time experience!

If y'all go here ask for lex...super sweet and took very good care of my family and I. Food was amazing..You will not be disappointed.

Our server Lex was really great! We were celebrating a birthday. The birthday boy got a complimentary bread pudding. Great food and service!

Great food! wonderful service! Lex was such a great and friendly server. A very relaxed atmospher! I will be back and recommend!

Really enjoyed this place!!!! Our waiter was an absolute pimp!!!! I had the gumbo, some gator bites, and the blackened catfish!!! Everything tasted great. Also, the drinks were really good as well. We always love going up to Chisholm Creek. It always has a great atmosphere.!!!!

Had dinner and really enjoyed the food, atmosphere and our server (Brooke) was fantastic!!! Gino was the AGM and looked in on us timely (not intrusive or when our mouths were full). Wife had the etouffe and I had the chicken fried steak. Both of us had leftovers after the Canal Street Combo as an app. Come give them a chance to impress you!

We got there a little after 11:00, and people where already coming in. We were seated in a booth in the bar area. I asked our cool server Coyote if we could get the tv nearest to us changed to the Olympics and they kindly changed the channel. Coyote was doing double duty as the bartender and server to the surrounding booths. Our appetizers came out quickly. The mains came out shortly thereafter. I miss the salt and pepper shakers on the table. They disappeared with COVID and have not returned. Some of my food could of used more seasonings to my liking.
